Dementia Support
Gunma Medical Center for Dementia Diseases
Facility Overview
Uchida Hospital received designation from Gunma Prefecture and opened the Medical Center for Dementia Diseases on September 1, 2010.
In cooperation with healthcare and nursing care institutions, this program provides differential diagnosis of dementia diseases, acute treatment for peripheral symptoms and physical complications, and specialized medical consultation. In addition, we aim to improve the standard of medical care for dementia patients in the community by providing training for local health care and nursing care professionals.
If you wish to see a specialist (by appointment only), we will arrange a schedule. If you have any concerns or problems with dementia, please contact our center. Early diagnosis and early treatment are important for dementia.

We will also guide you through various other procedures, hospital visits, and provide consultation to help you cope with your situation at the time.
Establishment of juvenile dementia support coordinator
We provide consultation for individuals and families diagnosed with juvenile dementia under the age of 64.
