●Reflections on the 50th Anniversary Ceremony

Now that the 50th-anniversary ceremony has come to a close, what has left the deepest impression on me are the smiles of everyone that filled the venue. On the day of the event, people were greeting one another with “It’s been a while!” here and there; conversations flowed freely as old friends reunited, and laughter never ceased. One of my hopes for this ceremony was to create a place where everyone could come together again and chat as if at a class reunion. Seeing that hope come to life right before my eyes, I felt as though flowers of happiness were blooming all over the venue.

Everyone here today has been actively engaged in their respective fields across the country. At some point along your journeys, you formed a connection with the Taiseikai, and I am truly delighted that we were able to spend this milestone day together in this very place.

In the course of my daily work, I have rarely had the opportunity to speak about Daiseikai’s 50-year history as a continuous journey. This time, being able to directly share with the local community, our senior members, and representatives from the government and other related organizations the story of how we have arrived at this point, as well as the thoughts I have held at various stages along the way, was a truly valuable experience for me.

Above all, my father feels deep joy at being able to celebrate this 50th anniversary here with all of you. Furthermore, seeing everyone who has helped build and support our journey thus far, along with the next generation—including our children—and the young staff who will lead us into the future, all gathered in this same venue, I felt certain that Daiseikai’s legacy will be passed on to the next era.

I hope this ceremony will not only reaffirm the bonds we have built so far, but also serve as an opportunity to foster new encounters and connections. Nothing would make me happier than to see the bonds formed today grow within each of your communities and activities, ultimately becoming a source of strength that supports our society in the years to come.

I would like to once again express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, as well as to all those who have supported the Taiseikai’s journey up to this day.

In order to provide high quality medical services, we will make daily efforts to provide trustworthy and reliable medical care that respects the choices of patients and their families. We will also collaborate with local medical, nursing, and welfare institutions to provide seamless services from hospitalization to home life, and strive to be a hospital that is needed by the community.
